Gallium Pro Disc and Electron Pro Highlight the Argon 18 Bike 2017 Line-Up
Canadian bike manufacturer Argon 18 launches its 2017 bike line-up with the next generation of Gallium Pro leading the new bike models. The Gallium Pro Disc features an evolutionary design adding disc brakes and maintains the nimble and fast characteristics that define this renowned bike, all while lightening up the frame.
“True innovation begins where others settle for status quo. Argon 18 keeps pushing forward. Always. Cycling is our passion, and Argon 18 makes bikes for people who share our love of riding,” said Gervais Rioux, Argon 18 CEO and Founder. “That focus and commitment has taken our brand to a stronger place in the market.”
The next generation Gallium Pro Disc incorporates fine details, from the small parts to redesigned cable routing. The innovative and fully integrated hub/frame/fork quick release thru-axle wheel attachment system of this 2017 model makes correct installation reliable and repeatable. The Gallium Pro geometry allows for a broad span of fitting options and is the proven race bike to many of the professional teams.
Another addition to the Argon 18 bike stable is the new Electron Pro, which recently made its debut with the Danish Olympic Track Team at the 2016 Olympic Games to much success — 2 medals and 1 Olympic record. Argon 18’s flagship track frame features an integrated front end designed to increase aerodynamic efficiency and minimize deflection of the head tube when under load. An optional modular cockpit allows for an easy swap between drop bar and pursuit bar. This nimble track bike is built with a carbon frame and fork at the heart of this new explosive race weapon, meeting the needs of even the most demanding racer.
“After only two laps on the test bike, I knew that this was the best track bike I had ever ridden,” said Lasse Norman Hansen, London 2012 Olympic Games Omnium Gold Medalist and Rio 2016 Olympic Games Individual Pursuit Olympic Record Holder and Omnium Bronze Medalist.
Both bikes in the new line-up are on display at Eurobike Hall B3-301, along with the other Argon 18 models.

TECHNOLOGY EXPANSION – FUSION WORKS DIVISION (FWD)
The Fusion Works Division is the umbrella under which Argon 18’s new advanced project Development/Research occur. “FWD explores new ideas, new technologies and proposes new innovations,” says Martin Faubert, Argon 18’s R&D Director. “The goal is that some of the exploration will help shape future products.
