Position Description

Reporting to the Director of the R&D department, you will develop new products in collaboration with various partners and consolidate Argon 18’s position among the industry leaders. You will be the master builder of a new generation of software tools bringing the latest technologies to high-performance cycling.

  • Manage all phases of application development and solutions from conception to deployment and documentation, in collaboration with various service providers.
  • Act as a technical leader in the development of analysis, architecture, design, development and implementation of applications.
  • Support project management, timelines and coordination of efforts among the various members of the development team.
  • Perform quality control and validation of the product.
  • Be able to integrate new technologies (wearable, biometrics, payments, etc.) to define new standards within our industry.
  • Conduct research and identify the required product.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of software products and maintain/supply the list of functions to develop.


  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of software development experience
  • Relevant experience in mobile application development
  • Relevant experience in project management of software development
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile development methods

Argon 18 is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable bicycle enthusiast with a mastery of Studio Max, V-ray and photoshop to fill the role of 3D artist. This individual will be responsible for creating true to life visuals and animations of our product line for web and print.

Job Duties

  • Making photorealistic renderings of all products.
  • Model and manage a portfolio of peripheral products where 3D files are not accessible.
  • Retouching 2D images in Photoshop.
  • Manage and update all core product visuals for our website on a model year basis.
  • Play a proactive role within the marketing department working collaboratively to execute product documentation and sales support tools.
  • Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions leading to new and innovative ways to add value in our visual elements.
  • Proactively provide new ideas, perspectives, way to display or highlight products or product features. 


  • Technical degree or bachelor in related field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in a similar position.
  • Must demonstrate a Strong knowledge of 3D studio max, V-ray and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D and Zbrush an asset.
  • Demonstrate a very strong mechanical and functional attention to detail.
  • Expertise in in Industrial Design/Architecture/ Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills: both visual and verbal.

Under the supervision of the Assembly Supervisor and in support of the Quality Director, the Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the company's products meet the required standards. It maintains the Quality standards within the production activities and ensures the reputation of the brand and the delivery times required by the customers. It plays a key role in ensuring greater profitability, as well as managing and increasing innovation within the company.


  • Read Quality Control (QC) grids and technical drawings to understand product quality expectations;
  • Create QC grid reports of incoming goods in accordance with established criteria and sample charter;
  • Perform incoming inspections of products (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, specifications, etc.);
  • Perform inspections of outgoing products per criteria found on check lists;
  • Accept or reject incoming and outgoing goods;
  • Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing;
  • Prepare and submit reports;
  • Make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions to supervise;
  • Participate in the definition and/or revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the inspection function;
  • Participate in organizing and managing the quarantine location;
  • Create a nomenclature regarding non-conformities identified and products under quarantine and other locations;
  • Apply rework instructions found in product notices;
  • Work with warehouse clerk to organize stock (when and if needed);
  • Assist in organizing the warehouse as well as incoming/outgoing workstations;


  • Relevant experience in manufacturing sector and inspection;
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings;
  • Working knowledge of measuring instruments such as caliper and mechanical gauges;
  • Impartiality to recognize any difficulties related to the design or process;

The Quality Director first and foremost ensures the correct execution of the manufactured products and the quality of the production process with the subcontractors. Reporting to the Director of Operations, his mandate is to define the quality management policy and optimize it by introducing procedures and implementing improvement projects. He is a link between different actors: management, staff, customers and suppliers.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a high level of quality;
  • Design tools/plans to improve quality/reliability and increase access to information (e.g.: “8D” form, factory sample-test document, quality waiver form, scorecard);
  • Manage the development of performance-related objectives and indicators related to quality, review of results and gap analysis;
  • Write reports for management;
  • Lead the non-conformity analysis process: investigate the origins and causes of defects, identify corrective actions, ensure prompt processing and follow-up with suppliers;
  • Monitor and improve the quality of the documentation system;
  • Determine processes (audits and indicators) and plan interventions;
  • Manage the schedule of inspections of outgoing goods at the factories and communicate it to the different parties (e.g.: quality agency);
  • Refine the structure for inbound / outbound goods inspections and follow up;
  • Develop and monitor a system related to quarantined products;
  • Supervise the “Return Management Authorization” module in the ERP system and take customer feedback into account according to the policy and established response times;
  • Lead the internal structure and tools related to the management of warranties, to better empower customer service, gain access to information and increase overall efficiency;
  • Submit warranty reports to respective suppliers;
  • Work in collaboration with Sales and R&D departments;
  • Develop a quality culture based on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement;

As a marketing leader, you will act as an ambassador and you will plan, prepare, organize, coordinate and control the marketing, promotional and communication activities of the company and its products. You will work closely with the company’s various partners, sales and external collaborators.


  • Develop and implement marketing strategies.
