E-112
Stiffness = efficiency
A product of the E-114 development process, the E-112 is a remarkably stable and exceptionally aerodynamic racing machine.

• AFS Tri/T.T. Geometry... Argon 18 Fit System, it's human specific
Even without the ONEness concept, the E-112’s front center and overall wheelbase dimensions remain identical to the E-114’s: both have the same accurate steering and rock-solid stability even at very high-intensity efforts. Radical or more relaxed positions are easily achieved.
• Total frame length doesn’t determine everything: optimal handling and fit are obtained with balanced proportions.
• On a time trial machine, 400mm chainstays ensure a perfect chain line and efficient shifting.

• “Power” and “Comfort”
Triathlete’s top needs
Based on a Slowtwitch survey (november 2009), “power” and “comfort” are part of top needs for triathletes. Argon 18’s E-Series is built to provide stability through geometry for users seeking for power and comfort.

• Frame/fork aerodynamic integration
• The E-112 is constructed in the same mold used for building the E-114. Both bikes thus share the same shapes, apart from the fork. However, the pronounced ridges on the E-112 fork allow the maximum possible aerodynamic integration with the frame and rider, with a conventional handlebar configuration.
As measured in the wind tunnel, here are the aero gains, compared to the E-80, twice a world triathlon championship winning bike:
• 5% into a on-axis headwind
• an average of 13% improvement in sidewinds.

• ASP-4000 seatpost
An Argon 18 innovation. Built in our own mold, the ASP4000 seatpost is an elegant, 12K carbon-finished piece of engineering that combines positional flexibility and aero efficiency.
• 78 or 76-degree seat angle.
• Saddle tilt and setback are adjusted separately, facilitating even the most minute position changes.

• 5606 HM Carbon
A formulation developed in the context of project Element 114, 5606 offers properties similar to those of 6006, used in building the E-114.
• 5606 is used exclusively in building the E-112 and meets the very stringent requirements for manufacturing tubes and sections having a pronounced aero profile.
• The inherent vibration-absorbing qualities of 5606 HM lend extra comfort and stability to the frameset, particularly on rough surfaces.
