Creating a frameset and naming it

Argon is one of the elements found in the Periodic Table, which classifies all known forms of matter found in the universe, natural and artificial. We wanted to classify our range of models similarly and so we chose to name them after the elements that surround us .

The physicist’s quest for the “Island of Stability” and the E Series

The “Island of Stability” is an expression taken from nuclear physics. It refers to the possibility of discovering previously unknown elements that have “magic’’ numbers of protons and neutrons. These numbers, in theory, give certain isotopes of these new elements far more stability than others; so that they decay much more slowly.

The first of these elements is Element 114 which has been produced artificially only once. In theory, after a moment, Element 114 transforms itself naturally and becomes Element 112 which, as it turns out,is closely related to Mercury, Element 80 on the Periodic Table.

Stability, one of the most important characteristics in a winning, topquality time trial or triathlon rig, is at the heart of our design objectives for the E-114, E-112 and E-80.
